Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney Marriage Report Isn't True, Says Source

Insider close to the couple shoots down gossip that the two are looking to swap vows later this year

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are not getting hitched anytime soon.

A source tells E! News that reports the "Marry the Night" singer is ready to tie the knot with her Chicago Fire boyfriend are definitely not true.

Rumors of a possible wedding surfaced after a close friend of Gaga's, DJ Starlight, was quoted as telling the U.K's Sun the pop superstar confessed to her that Taylor was "the one" and the duo were looking at summer nuptials when both their schedules are clear.

"From all I've heard, I don't think I'm dropping a secret by saying they are ready to get hitched this year," her pal told the paper.

Consider that nothing more than hearsay.

The 26-year-old Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, began dating Kinney during the summer of 2011 after the 31-year-old thesp appeared in her "You and I" music video while on a break from his former show, The Vampire Diaries. They've been an item ever since.

Gaga meanwhile continues to recover from surgery to fix a hip injury that happened last month, which forced her to cancel her Born This Way Ball Tour much to the disappointment of her little monsters.

But on the bright side, at least she'll have more downtime with Taylor.
