The Count is counting the "yous" in YouTube. And for good reason!
Sesame Street reached 1 billion views on its official channel on the popular online video-sharing site.
That achievement prompted the folks behind everyone's favorite children's show to release a surprise celebratory clip featuring the Muppet character otherwise known as Count Von Count crooning a catchy song about the milestone.
Three weeks ago, Sesame Street put out the call to all the parents and kids out there to help hit the elusive mark via a video featuring Telly Monster talking about a "Top Secret Video" that would be unlocked if they garnered 1 billion views. That, as it turned out, was the funny bit above starring The Count.
Thanks to Netizens, Sesame Street is now the first nonprofit and the first U.S. children's company to earn the honor.
