What an early bird, Justin Bieber!

After angering fans and later apologizing for showing up late to his London concert Monday night, the Biebs stuck to his promise to be on time and promptly arrived for his performance at the O2 arena tonight.

Well, sort of. Technically, Justin only arrived two minutes early even though a rep for the O2 Arena pledged the singer would take the stage 30 minutes ahead of schedule to make up for last night's delay (minor details, people).

"We are happy to report that Justin Bieber made it on stage two minutes early this evening. Phew...," the O2 Arena posted on the venue's social media page along with a twitpic of the pop star performing.

Before Tuesday's concert, Bieber took to Twitter to apologize to his disappointed fans, insisting he showed up only 40 minutes late last night due to "technical issues" even though original reports and eyewitness accounts suggest he took the stage two hours late as the audience booed.

A rep for the O2 arena also responded to the Bieber backlash, explaining the concert venue is not "in a position to comment on his [Justin's] lateness" but took "swift actions" to ensure "all Bieber fans were able to make their way home safely."
