Oscar winner Ben Affleck marked "the end of a chapter" after the Academy Awards on Sunday by shaving off his epic beard, but it wasn't until today that the actor finally showed off his bare face.
Well, kinda bare face.
In the four days since the act took place, the Argo director, who was spotted heading to the TED (technology, entertainment, design) conference in Long Beach, Calif., has already grown some sufficient stubble (no, we don't mind one bit).
After giving an emotional acceptance speech when Argo won the Oscar for Best Motion Picture, Affleck joined his castmembers for a celebration at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood.
And that's when he decided to part ways with his fuzzy face.
A source tells E! News, "He did it to mark the end of a chapter. It had that ceremonial quality to it."
