We may not have seen the last of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
A sequel could be coming.
"That would be superfun, wouldn't it?" Kerry Washington, who played Broomhilda in the hit movie, said at the Oscars. "There has been a little bit of talk but I don't know where Quentin is on it. He's always got so many pots on the stove. But I do kind of want to see what happens after [Broomhilda] pulls that gun out. She's pretty amazing."
Kick-Ass Combat
Chloë Grace Moretz is putting down her firearms in the Kick-Ass sequel.
"I don't really use guns in the second one so it's a lot more hand-to-hand combat; it's a lot more physical," she says. "The costume's updated and way more fitted and interesting. There's a bit more romance in it. You see Mindy Macready grow up, which is a fun thing."
Les Mis Star's Karaoke Christmas
Samantha Barks, who made a stellar movie debut playing Eponine in Les Misérables, won't be singing in her next film, Christmas Candle.
"Not singing is going to be weird," she says. "I'm going to have to do a lot of karaoke on the side."
Candle is a period piece. "Downton Abbey is one of my favorite shows, and the costumes are kind of in that realm," Barks said. "I play Emily Bostow, an English rose with all her thorns."
Annie Get Your Costars
Speaking of singing, Quvenzhané Wallis starts shooting Annie in the summer. For her audition, the 9-year-old says she had to sing "most of the songs" from the musical.
Her Beasts of the Southern Wild director Benh Zeitlin gushed, "Quvenzhané can sing, dance and act. She can do anything."
Queen Latifah also told us she'd love to be in the flick, which she has jokingly renamed Blannie. "Call the Jigga Man and tell him," she said referring to Jay-Z, who is a producer on the movie.
