Jennifer Aniston thought about wearing her hair up last night to the Oscars, but after some consulting with her glam squad, she kept with her signature natural long-layered look.

Her longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan tells me the final decision was made because of her red Valentino gown.

"We thought about it up, maybe asymmetrical and even a little wavier, but the dress was such a departure for her," he said. "She usually wears something long and narrow, but this had a big flair at the bottom."

McMillan likened her overall look to a certain Brazilian supermodel. "It's like when you see Gisele Bündchen at the Met Costume Gala," he said. "She has her hair down and flowing but with a big dress."

McMillan said it took about an hour's work on Aniston last night. "I gave her a little haircut and a blowout," he said. "She's doing a movie right now and needed it trimmed."

Aniston wanted to be as "comfortable as possible" throughout the night. "She has great hair," McMillan said. "How may women last night could actually touch their hair? Jen could. She likes to wear her hair and not have her hair wear her."

And guess who else got a haircut alongside her? Yup, fiancé Justin Theroux.
