Kim Kardashian knows what it's like to be in a social-media fishbowl—and she admits that she worries sometimes about whether little sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner can handle the constant scrutiny.
"There are so many online bullies that I get a little worried about with my little sisters," the pregnant star said today in a talk with E! Entertainment president Suzanne Kolb during the Women@NBCU's Power of the Purse breakfast today in Los Angeles. Mom Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian Odom were also in attendance.
"They are modeling and, you know, they Instagram photos of themselves...and I do see some of the comments that people write to them," Kim said. "And I think you have to be a really strong individual and I don't expect anyone who's like 15 and 16 to really be able to take on such criticism."
Kendall's doing her best, however, sending a not-so-subtle message when she posted a photo of herself in a hoodie stamped with "F--k You," along with the caption, "...haters," on Instagram today.
"I've been thinking about how to get Kendall and Kylie heavily involved in an anti-bullying campaign or organization so that younger kids can really learn how to take the heat," added Kris. "Because people are not just nasty to celebrities or people that are popular, they're nasty to each other."
Kim, Kris and Khloé have prominently spoken out against bullying, with the trio teaming up last summer to shoot a PSA for Sears' Team Up to Stop Bullying campaign. Khloé has also worked with the It Gets Better Project.
