Watch: Seth MacFarlane Gets Ready for Oscars

Excited to see Seth MacFarlane host the Oscars Sunday? We certainly are.

E! News caught up with the funnyman who will be taking the stage in just days to ask how he's preparing for the big hosting gig.

"You know, just the same way you prep for the SATs," the Family Guy creater jokes. "No prep and get a good night's sleep before hand," he says before adding, "No, I haven't had a good night's sleep in about five months."

So since the comedian apparently won't be consulting cue cards, is he planning on making any unlucky audience members the butt of his jokes (a la Ricky Gervais during past Golden Globes)?

"There will be a balance," he laughs after a very long pause. "It's a different crowd. It's a very talented crowd, but it's also a very thin-skinned crowd."

He continues, explaining he doesn't want to burn any Oscar bridges:

"It's always struck me as odd that the group with the most going for them, with the most to boost them in life, is also the most thin-skinned," he says. "I was a nerd in school, so I'm always like, ‘Oh really, you can't take that? Oh my god, I took a hell of a lot worse in high school.'"

Clearly, MacFarlane has a few tricks up his sleeves but does he have any easy targets in mind?

"Quvenzhané's [Wallis] really going to get it," he quipped before revealing his advice from 2013 Golden Globe hosts Amy Poehler and Tiny Fey:

"Quit now while you're ahead."

Can't wait for Sunday!
