Just when you think the new season of Arrested Development couldn't get any more awesome…

Bridesmaids star and Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig has filmed a guest spot on AD's upcoming season premiering on Netflix, E! News has confirmed.

While a rep for Netflix wouldn't confirm Wiig's role, Vulture (who first broke the casting news) reports that she will be playing a young Lucille Bluth (Jessica Walters). Prepare for a flashback!

Creator Mitch Hurwitz told reporters back in January during the TCA Winter Press Tour that the new season will be structured to tell stories from each characters point of view, with each episode dedicated to a different character. "The only way we could get everybody for what we will loosely call an anthology was to dedicate each episode to a character's a point of view," Hurwitz said. Perhaps Wiig's appearance has something to do with Lucille's episode?

Other guest stars set to pop up when AD returns include Conan O'Brien, Andy Richter, Liza Minnelli (AKA Lucille 2), John Slattery, Isla Fisher, Seth Rogen, and Workaholics' stars Adam DeVine, Blake Anderson and Anders Holm.

Arrested Development finally returns to our lives in May.
