It's nearly Oscars week, which means the 85th annual Academy Awards will be handing out statues before we know it. Which also means it's time for you to make your next predictions.

So, which of the five nominated films will win the Best Visual Effects Oscar? Your choices:

Life of Pi: The effects? Oh, just a seemingly vicious tiger named Richard Parker (among other ruckus wildlife), a sinking ship, an entire oceanscape and then a carnivorous island.

Marvel's The Avengers: The others movies may have F/X, but Avengers has a Hulk.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey: While the other Lord of the Rings movies racked up numerous Best Picture noms, this installment at least got acknowledged for the work that goes into building Middle-earth from the ground up.

PrometheusSpace ships, out-of-this-world adventures and hulking (though not Hulk-ing) white alien engineers are just a few of the effects in this effects-heavy sci-fi geekfest.

Snow White and the Huntsman: Evil queen Charlize Theron turned into a bird, Kristen Stewart frolicked with magestic white stags and the man in the mirror was a man made of mirror-like goo.
