Jeff Probst's torch has been snuffed out.

Probst's daytime talk show The Jeff Probst Show has been canceled after just one season, a CBS TV Distribution spokesperson confirms to E! News.

The Survivor host's series failed to receive a second season pickup after lackluster ratings, averaging 950,000 viewers.

"I'm super bummed but extremely proud," Probst said in a statement to Variety. "The truth is all shows come to an end. Ours just ended a decade sooner than we had hoped."

Production and broadcast of the remaining original episodes of The Jeff Probst Show will continue throughout the current season.

While Katie Couric's daytime talk show Katie secured a second season, Ricki Lake's show was also canceled after one season.
