Jessica Alba had quite the health scare recently. Kinda, sorta.

While chatting it up on Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actress admitted to the talk show host that she has a habit of self-diagnosing.

As a result, the Fantastic Four star went into panic mode last week in the middle of the night.

"I thought I was having a stroke," Alba told Kimmel. "It was 2:30 in the morning and I woke up and my hand started to go numb, and then my whole arm went numb and I couldn't move it. And then I got a cold sensation from the back of my neck up to the front. And then I was like, I think, I can't move my face."

After googling the symptoms, Alba said she was convinced it was a stroke.

Out of concern, she proceeded to call the doctor, who offered to check her out. Alba says he told her "You're fine," but she opted to head to the emergency room nevertheless.

Upon getting a CAT scan, Alba's mind was finally put at ease.

"They all said, 'You had all the signs of a stroke if you were much older,'" she says, before being told she simply had carpal tunnel.

Ah, all's well that end's well.
