Alyssa Milano's Dog Diesel Dies of Cancer: "Rest in Peace," Actress Tweets

Alyssa Milano is mourning the death of her dog Diesel.

The 40-year-old actress announced via Twitter yesterday that he beloved pet passed away after a battle with cancer.

"Rest in peace, my beautiful Diesel," Milano tweeted. "I hope you're playing frisbee at the dog park in the sky. I love you forever."

Last month, Milano first tweeted about Diesel's deteriorating health.

"My dog Diesel is sick," she posted on Jan. 11. "They think it could be liver failure. Please keep him in your prayers. (Thank you.)."

Not long after, she followed up with more sad news, writing, "My Diesel has cancer. I'm heartbroken."

Here's hoping Milano feels better soon.
