Bull's-Eye! The CW Renews Arrow, Along With The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural

Good news for fans of Stephen Amell's abs: Arrow will be back next season.
The CW announced an early pickup for its breakout freshman drama, along with veteran hits The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural, on Monday. All three series will return in fall 2013, added The CW President Mark Pedowitz.
"We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on, and now with our new hit Arrow and fan favorite Supernatural on Wednesday night, and the continued success of The Vampire Diaries on Thursday, we've been able to do that," Pedowitz said in a statement. "Not only do [the shows] perform well on-air, they're also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially."
The buzzy trio of shows have each performed impressively in the ratings this season. Arrow, which posted the net's best series premiere since 2009, is currently its most-watched series with an average of 4.3 million viewers. Currently in its fourth season, The Vampire Diaries is the net's highest-rated series among adults 18-34, while Supernatural, which follows Arrow on Wednesdays, has posted ratings gains in its eighth season, rising 15 percent among total viewers and10 percent in adults 18-34.
