Start polishing the mirror-ball trophy now: A new Dancing With the Stars cast is about to be revealed!

ABC announced Monday that the identities of the 12 celebrities competing in season 16(!) of its ballroom hit will be unveiled live on Good Morning America Tuesday, February 26.

A fresh crop of stars will be a welcome return to form for the network's sequins and spray tans-riddled competition. The show took a ratings tumble last fall with an All-Star edition that ABC entertainment chief Paul Lee called "disappointing."

"I think the All-Star version made it a little bit older," Lee told reporters during ABC's Winter Press Tour in January. "I think we have the ability of casting fresh and bringing in the younger audience again. We think there's a lot of life in it. 16 million viewers is a lot of viewers."

Rumored cast members for season 16 have included everyone from former Bachelorette Emily Maynard to recently retired boxer Victor Ortiz. Miss Alabama Katherine Webb had also been mentioned as a possibility but she recently signed on to the net's upcoming celebrity-diving show Splash instead.

Dancing's 16th season, which will once again be cohosted by Emmy-winner Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet, is set to premiere with a two-hour installment on Monday, March 18.
