Despite Russell Brand's highly publicized divorce from Katy Perry, the comic actor insists it won't keep him from maybe tying the knot again someday.

"Not at all. I liked marriage. Most of it was brilliant," Brand told U.K. magazine ShortList. "You can't condemn an institution on one incident. You can't condemn the whole Catholic Church for a few dodgy priests."

However, Brand does seem a bit reluctant about settling down with someone who shares the celebrity spotlight.

"I feel different about my private life. I feel like I need to have one now. If you're married to someone who's also famous, privacy becomes a commodity," Brand said. "But f--king hell, that's not really a problem in a world where people are starving. My attitude to fame and celebrity changes continually."

Brand and Perry married in October 2010, but the Rock of Ages star filed for divorce just 14 months later, citing irreconcilable differences. The union officially ended in July 2012.
