Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow, which means there will be pretty people wearing pretty clothes all over the place, all readily available for you to simultaneously ogle and envy.
But here's a dose of pretty for today: Lizzy Caplan (she of Mean Girls fame, and this season of New Girl) in a faux fashion film entitled, well, Fashion Film.
So maybe the video is intended to be more "pretty funny" than actually pretty, what with the former Janis Ian waxing poetically about DJing sometimes and collecting things and making collages. But she looks really pretty in a rose wreath and the video is shot really pretty and that seashell collection has some pretty shells in it.
So maybe the most ironic thing about this ironic parody is that we'd watch it unironically, too.
