From making a splash with the upcoming Baywatch spoof to Jeremy Renner's "awful" hairstyle in David O. Russell's next drama, we've got a whole lot of fresh movie scoop for you in this week's installment of Big-Screen Spoilers.

So grab a tub of popcorn and start reading...

Baywatch Movie Without The Hoff?!

The Hollywood rumor mill went into overdrive a couple of weeks ago when it was reported that Saturday Night Live's Bill Hader had signed a deal to star in the upcoming Baywatch movie.

However, Hader's casting was immediately shot down by the studio.

And now David Hasselhoff tells us he may not even pop up in the flick.

"It's a very funny script, [but] I don't know if I'm in it or what I'm doing," Hasselhoff said at the Directors Guild of America Awards, adding, "It's going to be a spoof. It's hard to make Baywatch into something really real because even when we were doing it, we were making it real but we were having a good laugh at the same time."

It's not the same for the movie adaptation of his other hit series, Knight Rider. "That's different," Hasselhoff insisted. "Knight Rider is like real…It was 20 years ahead of its time. Now all the cars talk, all the cars drive themselves. They'll drive you home."

Jeremy Renner's Hairy Situation With Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper is reteaming with his Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell for a 1970s true-life FBI drama. And Jeremy Renner is getting in on the action this time. We know Cooper may be perming his hair for the flick, so what about Renner?

"I'm growing it out as we speak," he told us at the premiere of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. "That's all I know. We'll see what happens."

Renner joked, "Handsome Men With Awful Hair is going to be our movie title!"

Zoe Saldana Sings Out

Zoe Saldana has done sci-fi, action, suspense and comedy. And now she's ready to show off her pipes. The Star Trek actress recently filmed Nina, based on the life of jazz musician Nina Simone, and Saldana did all her own singing.

"She did!" costar David Oyelowo confirmed to us. "Whether that will be the case of the movie, I don't know, but she was there, she learned all those songs, she got Nina down. She was incredible…I think she is going to really surprise people with her performance in that film."

As for the controversy swirling around the film because critics took issue with Saldana's skin being darkened with makeup and her nose widened with a prosthetic (singer India.Arie called it "black(er) face"), Oyelowo said, "You're never going to please everyone. I know what Zoe did in that movie, I know the kind of film we've made and the spirit that went into it and just hope that the people who appreciate the hard work we've put in will come and see the movie."

Melissa McCarthy's Gentle Heat

Melissa McCarthy may not have had any problems beating up Jason Batemen while they filmed their new flick Identity Thief, but it sounds like the she went a little easier on her costars in the upcoming cop comedy The Heat!

Michael McDonald, who plays a bad guy opposite McCarthy and Sandra Bullock as detectives, says she was nothing but gentle while filming a fight scene in which she bashes him.

"She said, 'We should probably rehearse it!'" McDonald dished. "She was so worried she was going to hurt me. I was like, 'No. Let's just go for it, because if you do hurt me, we won't get it on tape.'"
