Singer tweets that she's "psyched" by her collaboration with the country idol who inspired her first major hit

Taylor Swift traveled the road to "Highway Don't Care" at rocket speed.

Six years after she made a name for herself with a tune called "Tim McGraw," Swift has joined forces with the country superstar on this wistful love song (which also features guest vocals from Keith Urban) from McGraw's latest album, Two Lanes of Freedom.

"I sang with Tim McGraw on a song on his new album- it's called 'Highway Don't Care' and it's out now and I'm psyched about it- check it out?" Swift tweeted today.

Well, we certainly can't think of any good reason not to check it out...

Two Lanes of Freedom is McGraw's 12th studio album—and though they've played together live before, this is their first studio collaboration.
