But it's the designing woman's ability to create equally romantic yet modern eveningwear that has had leading ladies reaching for her gowns ever since she branched out of bridal wear in 2002.
Julianne Hough was a vision at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards in a stunning tulle Lhuillier creation embellished with gold accents, while Zooey Deschanel was pretty in pink at the 2011 Emmy Awards in a strapless gown with a dramatically voluminous skirt. Meanwhile, Julie Bowen turned heads in a form-fitting classic mermaid dress that felt fresh thanks to a lively neon yellow hue at the 2012 Emmy Awards.
