Given the ultra-feminine design of Monique Lhuillier's red carpet gowns, it should come as no surprise that she started out creating fabulously frothy wedding dresses back in 1996.

Since then, stars like Reese Witherspoon, Carrie Underwood and Alicia Silverstone have all walked down the aisle in the designer's girlie confections. But it's the designing woman's ability to create equally romantic yet modern eveningwear that has had leading ladies reaching for her gowns ever since she branched out of bridal wear in 2002.

Julianne Hough was a vision at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards in a stunning tulle Lhuillier creation embellished with gold accents, while Zooey Deschanel was pretty in pink at the 2011 Emmy Awards in a strapless gown with a dramatically voluminous skirt. Meanwhile, Julie Bowen turned heads in a form-fitting classic mermaid dress that felt fresh thanks to a lively neon yellow hue at the 2012 Emmy Awards.

And just like a bride undoubtedly feels stunning in her Lhuillier on her big day, we're betting Hough, Deschanel and Bowen felt pretty glamorous in the designer's gowns for some of their high-profile red carpet moments!
