Girl With the Dragon Tattoo becomes the White Witch...at least in her wardrobe

Did somebody leave the wardrobe door open? Because apparently the White Witch made her escape from Narnia.

While we're happy to see Rooney Mara in something other than black, this Alexander McQueen ensemble is full on ice queen.

Then again, there is something enchanting about the ivory paneled velvet and macramé cape dress. And Rooney's simple nude Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toes and signature center part pony keep it simple.

But we just can't shake the feeling that she belongs in a snowy field, surrounded by centaurs.
