One Direction's Mums Hate Their Sons' Tattoos

When it comes to body art, the boys say their parents think they’re “getting a bit too much”

The One Direction boys may love their body art. But their mothers? Mmm, not so much.

"My mum went crazy about the whole tattoo idea," Liam Payne told ITV's Daybreak on Thursday.

And Zayn Malik can totally relate. He noted that "our mums have been like, 'Maybe you're getting a bit too much.'"

But inking aside, their parents couldn't be more proud of their sons' success.

"My mum just cries the whole time," Payne said. "My mum literally has not stopped crying for the past two and a half years."

Aww. Sounds like maybe their next tats should read "Mum."
