The mother of two and new author was superexcited when she finally got to grasp her book, The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You, in her own two hands.
"OMG! OMG! OMG! I just got my first real hard copy of my book! Share with your friends folks! xoxo," she wrote on Facebook, with a pic of her apparently taking a selfie in the mirror.
The book, which will be released on March 12, "recounts Alba's personal journey of discovery and reveals her tips for making healthy living fun, real, and stylish, while offering a candid look inside her home and daily life," according to Amazon.
Just last year, Alba teamed up with serial entrepreneur Brian Lee and environmental advocate Christopher Gavigan, to launch The Honest Company, a brand where parents can find reliable information and products that are safe, stylish, and affordable.
That, along with being very vocal and active about environmental issues, earned the actress the Green Parent Award at the Environmental Media Awards in August.
