Catch a rising star indeed!
Unlike that famous ego, it looks like Simon Cowell's seat at the judge's table on Britain's Got Talent requires a little bit of a boost.
The outspoken music-and-TV mogul reportedly uses a booster cushion on his chair, which causes him to tower over fellow panelists Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden and sit at the same height as 6-foot-2 inch judge David Walliams—this even though the 53-year-old Cowell stands 5 feet 9 inches tall.
Word of the height-helper got out after an audience member took a photo of the cushion at auditions for the reality competition series' seventh edition, which kicked off Jan. 19. "It was a cushion," the judge's rep told the paper.
