The Emmy nominee appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night (after the big New Girl episode where, squeee! Nevermind, spoilers! Watch it!) and, amid talk of award noms and his mom, he revealed that the theme of his bar mitzvah was, in fact, SNL:
Yes, that's right. There was a Blues Brothers cake and center pieces for each of the stars (see below) and in the middle of it all was an adorable boy becoming a man becoming a Schmidt!
In the clip, Greenfield talks about how he almost told SNL creator Lorne Michael about his party theme before chickening out. Well, he knows now! And hopefully that sets some wheels in motion leading to Max guest hosting (we have our fingers crossed).
