Tina Turner is rollin', rollin' on to Switzerland.

The legendary 73-year-old singer is reportedly in the process of swapping out her American passport for a Swiss one, renouncing her U.S. citizenship, according to ABC News.

And it looks like Switzerland is more than ready to welcome her as their "Private Dancer."

The local council announced its decision to grant the "Proud Mary" singer's citizenship Friday, newspaper Zuerichsee-Zeitung said on its website, but that decision still requires approval from state and federal authorities.

"I am very happy in Switzerland and I feel at home here. I could not imagine a better place to live," Turner told German newspaper Blick following the announcement.

The Grammy-winning performer has lived in the Zurich, Switzerland, suburb of Kuesnacht since the mid 1990s.
