What maternity leave?

Mere days after giving birth to her first child, Shakira is revealing her pick for an adviser during her inaugural season as a judge on The Voice: Joel Madden!

We've learned exclusively that the Good Charlotte frontman—and former The Voice Australia coach—will help the new mom critique contestants during season four of the NBC hit. "I'm so excited to have Joel be a part of my team," Shakira says. "He's a friend and such a talented musician. I think our combined experience and expertise will bring an eclectic mix of input and energy."

Nicole Richie's better-half is equally as psyched about the collaboration. "Not only am I a huge fan of Shakira as a person, but I'm a huge fan of her music and her craft," he says. "I enjoyed working with all of the talented singers, hanging with Shakira and bringing what I've learned on the Australian version of the show back to the States with me."

NBC previously announced that rapper-producer Pharrell Williams will help coach Team Usher.

To see more from Shakira and Madden, check out an exclusive interview tonight on E! News at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

The Voice's fourth season premieres on Monday, March 25.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
