Memo to Katy Perry: If this whole pop-star thing doesn't work out, you just might have a future giving Pat Sajak a run for his game-show bona fides.

In a sneak peek at her appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' show Friday—which happens to be Ellen's birthday!—the "Firework " singer gets to live out a major fantasy: Apparently, the 28-year-old songbird always wanted to be a game-show host. So naturally, Ellen more than indulged her, well, game guest.

Suffice it to say, Perry pulls out all the stops, hitting the stage in all-out male drag and channeling a hokey '70s game-show host as she does a quick shuffle on the way to the podium.

Let's run down the checklist, shall we? You've got the faded plaid suit (complete with ginormous lapels!), oversize bow tie, cheesy mustache and Bob Barker–era skinny microphone.

Then there's the wig, which got its own special shout-out: "I asked for the Anne Hathaway," the singer cracked, before launching into a game called "Grab Ellen's Bust."

We'll buy a vowel, please: This definitely looks like it spells A-W-E-S-O-M-E.
