Don Draper is coming back! AMC has announced the return date for the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series Mad Men today.

As expected, the premiere still seems so far away. Mad Men's sixth season will debut on Sunday, April 7 at 9 p.m., with a special two-hour premiere. The following Sunday the series will return to its regular timeslot (10 p.m.) with an episode directed by leading man Jon Hamm.

"To be able to continue exploring the stories of these characters for a sixth season is an amazing opportunity," creator Matthew Weiner said in a statement. "We love mining this world and look forward to bringing the audience stories that we hope will continue to both surprise and entertain them."

Adds AMC President and General Manager Charlie Collier: ""It is a calling card and a point of great pride for AMC to be the network home of Mad Men, led by Matthew Weiner and his brilliant team. We can't wait to share season six with the world and what better way to start than with a special two-hour premiere?"

It's like we always say: the more Mad Men, the merrier!
