Whether or not Denzel Washington's pilot could have really crash-landed a commercial jet as he did in Flight, that's one very real airplane lying in a field once the terrifying movie magic has been done.

"We get to play with all of the best toys and props at the highest level," muses Don Cheadle in a clip, obtained exclusively by E! News, from the bonus features of the film's DVD/Blu-ray release. "We have an actual airplane there...We're up on the scaffolding looking at the entire scene that's laid out before us."

Pan to Cheadle and Washington, who's nominated for an Oscar for his role as troubled pilot Whip Whitaker, surveying the disturbingly realistic wreckage.

Flight, directed by Robert Zemeckis, will be available on DVD and Blu-ray starting Feb. 5.
