We were completely mesmerized by Michelle Obama's elegant look last night at the 2013 Inaugural Ball, and simply can't stop buzzing about her knockout fashion choice.

The first lady was poised, powerful and drop dead gorgeous in a fiery red Jason Wu custom design paired with Jimmy Choo pumps and Kimberly Macdonald for Forevermark diamond jewels, a perfect choice to ring in the second term with President Barack Obama

And while we may not all have regular opportunities to wear designer dresses and sashay to a live performance by Jennifer Hudson, there's bound to be a big night when you may just want to channel your inner Obama!

Here's how to get the FLOTUS's stunning look without breaking the bank:

1. Embrace a Bold Shade of Red: This ravishing chiffon halter evening gown is sophisticated and ladylike for a special occasion. (JS Boutique dress available at select Nordstrom locations.)

2. Bring Out the Bling: A sparkling set of bangles adds a touch of excitement to any formal look. ($60 at AmritaSingh.com.)

3. Kick up Your Heels: A polished pair of satin pumps pulls the lovely look together beautifully. (Michael Antonio 'Love Me' heels, $30 at 6pm.com.
