Britney Spears' Las Vegas Gig: Former X Factor Judge "Deep Into Negotiations"

Book those tickets to Las Vegas, y'all, because it looks like Britney Spears really is headed to Sin City!

Multiple sources have told E! News the former X Factor judge is "deep into negotiations" for a gig with Planet Hollywood (part of Caesars), but now we're hearing that "it's definitely happening."

"Everyone in her team wants it," a source tells E! News, adding, "they think it will be the best thing for her to happen soon," and "are pushing hard for it to happen soon."

Another source says, however, that the newly single star won't have an "intense schedule" like other Sin City residencies.

"She wants to be in L.A. with her kids so there is no way she can move to Vegas full time or even part time. It's going to be an in and out thing—a limited number of engagements over a year."

Meanwhile, another source tells E! News that Britney's gig would be for "a set number of engagements over the year. All will be shows, not just appearances."

While talks have been ongoing for some time, they've heated up only recently.

"They have been discussing it for a long time but talks slowed down while she was doing X Factor," says the source. "Now that it's over, everything has sped up again."
