With Inauguration Day fast-approaching, all eyes are on Michelle Obama to see what she will wear for the main event.

The stylish first lady has already earned herself high marks from the fashion community during her first term, thanks to her savvy selection of head-turning ensembles ranging from fresh, up-and-coming designers like Jason Wu, Peter Som and Thakoon to timeless classics like Michael Kors, Calvin Klein and Vera Wang.

And not to be missed were her ultra-accessible ladylike looks over the years from friendly American mainstays like J. Crew, Tracy Reese and White House Black Market.

With such incredible fashion credibility to her name now, we're dying to see which designer look will make the final cut!

And while we wait, a handful of our favorite designers offered brilliant sketches of dreamy dresses they'd like to see on our fearless leading lady.

Monique Lhuillier showed an icy gray gown featuring sheer sleeves and a center slit, while Nanette Lepore designed an adorable black-and-white look that perfectly coordinated with feminine frocks for Malia and Sasha, too.

L'Wren Scott illustrated a chic mermaid gown with cap sleeves (to flaunt those famous arms!) with a waist-cinching belt, while Chanel showed the first lady in a strapless gown in patriotic colors.

Simply stunning!

Which dress design would you want to see the first lady wear on Inauguaration Day?
