TwitterWe're starting to think Ricky Gervais has a thing for us.
The funnyman gave us quite the shout out on Twitter Sunday, giving us a sneak peek at his Golden Globes, um, outfit, in a way only he knew how.
"This is what I'll be wearing during The Golden Globes. Does this finally get me on your best dressed list?," Gervais tweeted, along with a photo of a pudgy, shirtless man sprawled out in a corner.
The Invention of Lying star, who we've already dubbed the best dressed man in the universe, joked in October that he decided to give up his Golden Globes hosting gig after not making E!'s Fashion Police's best dressed list for three years in a row.
"Good luck to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at the Golden Globes. After failing three years in a row to make E! Channel's Best Dressed list, I decided to hand over the reins," Gervais said in a statement to EW at the time. "Let me know if you run out of Scientology gags."
While he may not have stolen the Fashion Police crew's hearts just yet, Gervais did top our list of the 15 best things ever said at the Golden Globes, which he happened to notice as well.
"Thank You E! I'm flattered," Gervais wrote. "That Mel Gibson gag was the very first gag I ever wrote for the ceremony," Gervais tweeted.
We're missing him already.
