Awards season 2013 is in full swing!

The Golden Globes are just one day away and, earlier this week, we found out which lucky actors scored Oscar nominations this year.

So with so many awards shows in the near future, we just had to ask stars like Julianne Hough, Chris Colfer, Julie Bowen and more one very big question: What's the most important thing celebs do before hitting the red carpet?!

Julie Bowen: "I used to chew gum but my dentist told me it's bad for me so now I mouthwash like a fiend."

Chris Colfer: "Get a good night's sleep because there's nothing worse than being on a carpet being exhausted and having the lights and people screaming in your faces. You're on your feet for a long time. So sleep and eat."

Julianne Hough: "Shave my legs, depending on my dress. Definitely outfit. Definitely hair and makeup. Making sure your skin's good."

Julie Benz: "I have to be honest: I have to practice my pose in the mirror. I do because every dress is different. You have to make sure to give yourself a wasitline and make your bottom smaller. I'm not a natural at this. I'm just an actor. I'm not a model. They don't teach you how to pose in acting school."

Anthony Mackie: "You gotta make sure you don't fall. You have the girls with their dresses and their heels, which have now become like totem poles. It's too much sometimes. You step on a girl's dress, she falls and then you fall on her."

Shay Mitchell: "Eat something. You need energy. It's long. Pack a snack."

Mireille Enos: "I have to kiss my baby before I leave the house."

Stephen Amell: "I've got to make sure that my zipper is done up. That's the closest that I can get to a wardrobe malfunction. I want to avoid it at all costs."

Katie Cassidy: "The outfit. It's the biggest statement. You are who you wear, right? You're showing a side of yourself that I think is very personal. And it's fun."

Monica Potter: "Deodorant. Brushing your teeth. General hygiene."
