Mandy Patinkin, Claire Danes, Homeland

Award season is on, people!

Homeland, Breaking Bad, Girls and 30 Rock were just a few TV series whose directors were recognized by the Directors Guild of America when they announced the nominees for the 65th Annual DGA Awards on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Lena Dunham scored her first nomination for her work on her HBO hit series Girls, while Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston also earned his first nom, just not for his work on the AMC series, but on a hit ABC comedy!
