Apparently, Alabama and Notre Dame played a football game on Monday night.

Well, what viewers saw of it. After all, ESPN and play-by-play announcer Brent Musburger seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time focusing on the Crimson Tide quarterback's girlfriend—Miss Alabama herself, Katherine Webb.

Of course, we can't exactly blame them given how Alabama's 42-14 blowout over Notre Dame was a bit of a yawner. So what better way to keep viewers entertained than by turning the cameras and commentary toward AJ McCarron's gal as she cheered her man on from the stands, right?

Toward the end of the first quarter, with Alabama already up 14-0, a shot of Webb popped up on the screen.

"Wow, I'm telling you. You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women," noted the 73-year-old Musburger to fellow announcer Kirk Herbstreit. "So, if you're a youngster in Alabama, start getting a football out and throw it around the backyard with Pops!"

The cameras later made their way to Webb when the score became 28-0 and, sure enough, at the end of the game.

"There is Miss Alabama, with the victory kiss," Musburger said.

No doubt with a bit of jealousy.

Meanwhile, another lovely lass, model Kate Upton, tweeted about Albama's victory, writing: "It's okay Notre Dame this happened to the Jets every week."

Ouch!
