So maybe you've already heard of Anne Hathaway (she of Catwoman and Les Mis fame). And sure, you probably know Modern Family's perennially award season favorite, Sofia Vergara, too.

But do you know which of 2013's Golden Globe Best Supporting Actress nominees has racked up the most Globe noms in the past (it's a tie between Mrs. Lincoln herself, Sally Field and the Downton Abbey Dowager Countess, Maggie Smith, both with 10).

And can you recall off the top of your head which actress will be competing for the very first time (another tie: Hayden Panettiere, for Nashville, and Archie Panjabi, a controversial breakout on The Good Wife).

The 70th annual awards airs this Sunday, Jan. 13, and, being the pop culture aficionado that you are, you'll want to have all the facts before you start picking your winners. So, may we formally introduce you to the Best Supporting Actress nominees, from both film and TV.
