Felipe Trueba/EFE/Sipa USAMadonna's wacky, sign-wielding fan has been sentenced to three years' probation after he was arrested for spray-painting love notes outside of the superstar singer's former New York City apartment, E! News has confirmed.
Robert Linhart, a 61-year-old retired city firefighter, was busted back in 2010 for the incident, and was later found guilty last November for resisting arrest when it all went down.
At the time, the overzealous fan was caught hanging outside of Madonna's Central Park West digs two times in four days, displaying love notes to the "Human Nature" crooner that said things like "I need you."
After getting arrested the first time for his unsolicited displays of affection, Linhart was back just a few days later with more poster-board love messages and was promptly taken into custody again.
In addition to his probation, Linhart was also ordered to attend anger management sessions.
