Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting a little one, E! News confirms, and the rapper was more than happy to share the exciting news with hundreds of his fans during his Atlantic City concert Sunday night.
But Kimye Jr. didn't happen overnight—let's take a look back on Kim and Kanye's road to baby.
December 2010: Rumors that Kim and Kanye were more than pals began to make their way around town, especially after working on a music video for Kim's single together. But nothing romantic was happening...yet.
April 2012: Fast forward a couple years and Kimye are still friends, but after Kardashian's split with Kris Humphries, the duo spent more time together than usual. And Kanye's song "Theraflu" had a verse saying he fell in love with Kim, so that also added some fuel to fire.
K.K. addressed the rumors. "I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions. But as I've said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years," Kardashian pointed out when Ann Curry brought up the relationship with West, before adding with a smile: "You never know what the future holds or where my life will take me."
Her family also chimed in on the possibility of them dating, and all seemed to be up for it (well, Bruce Jenner was a little hesitant). Khloé Kardashian Odom said, "I love Kanye. I don't know what happens with Kim. I love Kanye. I think they're cute together."
Later that month, Kim wore earrings of the letters K and W.
May 2012: Just like that, word spread like wildfire that the duo were ready to move in together, but it was just another false alarm.
August 2012: After the moving in rumors, came the wedding rumors! Kim's family denied that the pair was going to tie the knot, but mama Kris Jenner gave her blessing anyway, saying "Anything that makes Kim happy, I'm thrilled."
October 2012: A couple months later, Kim was spotted flaunting a huge rock. Was something brewing? "If it was, I would know about it," Kris Jenner said.
During an interview for the November issue of Tatler magazine, Kim gushes about Kanye, saying, "It's so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you're going through.I can't even think about being with anyone else than the man I'm with." And whenever that day does come for Kimye to walk down the aisle, she said it will be "on an island with just my friends and family and that's it."
December 2012: Alas, something that may have seemed to be a rumor, was actually true! Kanye announces that Kim is pregnant and their friends couldn't be happier.
