And while that news flash came courtesy of an adorable twitpic from big sister-to-be Maxwell, today, we get to hear the news straight from the pregnant star's mouth.
"Being healthy has become a part of who I am," the Weight Watchers celebrity ambassador says in her latest commercial, released today.
"Which is great timing, because I'm having another baby. I feel like I'm on top of the world."
The joyous feeling was echoed by Weight Watchers, which clarified today that while Jess is a valued spokeswoman, she will not be following the diet plan during her pregnancy and will instead consult with her doctor after giving birth to decide when to resume the program.
"It's wonderful news and we couldn't be happier for Jessica, Eric and big sister-to-be Maxwell," the company's senior vice president Cheryl Callan said in a statement. "We've seen firsthand that Jessica has a refreshed outlook on food, activity and the importance of developing healthy habits, which we hope will guide her through this next pregnancy and beyond.
"She has come a long way, and we know her story and success will continue to inspire others."
There's no word yet on a possible due date for the expectant mama, but what a way to start the new year. Congrats!
