From Miley Cyrus to Kelly Osbourne: The Best and Worst of the 2012 VH1 Divas Concert

At the 2012 VH1 Divas concert the stars came out in droves, some of those droves just happened to be better dressed than others.

We always thought that when really bad fashion met totally amazing fashion on the same red carpet, there would be some sort of couture nuclear meltdown. But, alas, at this year's VH1 Divas concert, there was plenty of both, and everyone went away in one piece.

In our loser's circle, we have Miley Cyrus. (Sidenote: The Thunderdome's nowhere near Los Angeles.) Her partner in crime: Adam Lambert. Wow. It's like Dave Navarro and Eddie Izzard had a baby and sent him to pimp college.

And last, but absolutely not least is Havana Brown, who sounds like a cigar, but looks like Paris Hilton...after landing a very discreet arrangement with an oil sheikh in Dubai.

And now for the best!

The queen of the evening just may have been Brandy. Talk about taking a risk and pulling it off! We're looking at an Estéban Cortazar asymmetric dress made of equal parts leather and satin, plus a pair of metal ankle-cuff sandals that are definitely giving us a shoegasm. It's like someone folded Brandy up into the world's sexiest origami crane and then lit it on fire!

Jordin Sparks, meanwhile, brought the sparkle in a perfectly fitted holiday-in-a-gown. Also, big applause for Demi Lovato in Topshop! Reminds us of a particularly well styled extra in Hairspray. Good girl.

Kelly Osbourne also gets a spot among our winners. Can she ever do wrong? Apparently not. Yes, the dress is a tad springy for December. But then again, as celebrities have beaten into our skulls this season, wearing Spring 2013 duds in Winter 2012 is a trend in itself. We love the many ways that Kelly wears her daring lavender hair.  Even the shoes are the perfect mix of unexpected and stylish.
