Pippa Middleton is now an author. But could she be adding "TV correspondent" to her résumé as well?

Word has surfaced that Kate Middleton's younger sis is being eyed for a plum role as a correspondent on the Today show, with the U.K.'s Sunday Mirror even pegging a number to that offer: $600,000 for 20 appearances on the NBC morning show.

Could Prince William's sister-in-law be gearing up for a Stateside TV debut?

Calm down, royal watchers: A rep for the Today show confirms to E! News that speculation about Pippa's imminent arrival remains just that—speculation.

"There has been no such offer made to Pippa Middleton by the Today show," the show's rep tells E! News in a statement. "She of course is welcome as a guest on Today anytime."

The Sunday Mirror had reported that the 29-year-old would be covering potential events such as the Chelsea Flower Show and the opening of Buckingham Palace to the public, and an insider was supposedly quoted as saying that Pippa's appeal was "huge" because "she is linked to the royal family and because of her popularity following the wedding when pictures of her went worldwide."

Of course, having an insider to help report all the deets on the Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy would be a great scoop for any TV show.

But for now, rumors about Pippa's morning-show debut are far from being pregnant with meaning.

(E! and Today are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
