No guts, no glory seems to be a motto that writer-director Quentin Tarantino has truly taken to heart. And where there's guts (be they missing limbs, missing ears or plucked-out eyeballs) there's bound to be buckets of blood. And then, in Tarantino flicks, some more blood for good measure.

Just his latest: Django Unchained, which features one of the prettiest shots you ever did see of blood splattering on cotton plants. And that's just the tip of the iceberg: Jamie Foxx slings guns and shoots baddies opposite the nefarious Leonardo Dicaprio in the nearly three hour saga.

Then there's Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2. Reservoir Dogs. And a little film with a lot of punch, Pulp Fiction. Some moments are gory. Some moments are gross. Practically all of 'em are not for the weak of stomach. And all of them are guaranteed to make you shout, "Oh! My! God!"
