Friends With Kids star Megan Fox now has a kid of her own. But according to the brunette beauty, getting there wasn't easy.

Turns out, childbirth was quite the painful and difficult odyssey for Brian Austin Green's missus, who delivered their first child, son Noah, on Sept. 7.

And she candidly recounted to us that journey to motherhood.

"It was pretty bad," she exclusively told E! News Wednesday at the Hollywood premiere of her new film This Is 40, saying that she didn't expect the pain of childbirth to be so swift and intense.

"I didn't ease into the contractions—they just were a level 10 right away," the 26-year-old added. "And I barely made it to the hospital in time to get the epidural before I started pushing. It all happened in less than four hours, which was pretty crazy."

Still, motherhood has clearly had a profound impact on the star, who says that having a child "softens me."

"I used to have this wicked, dark sense of humor, and now I don't find morbid things funny anymore," she explained.

"I'm so much softer than I used to be, and I feel everything so much deeper than I used to. When I watch the news, everyone is somebody's child or someone's mother. So, I'm constantly worrying now about everything."

Could there be more in store for Fox on the family front? When asked whether she and Green had any plans to expand their family, she smiled and simply nodded.

Can't say the gal doesn't like sequels!
