Watch out Stephen Amell, there's a handsome guy coming to Arrow to give you some competition...or a helping hand!

Teen Wolf fan favorite Colton Haynes, who recently exited the series, is set to join the CW's breakout hit in a recurring role. "Welcome to the family," the show's creator Greg Berlanti tweeted to the actor. "Very excited."

And fans of the original Green Arrow comics may want to grab a new pair of underwear before reading exactly who Haynes will be playing when he makes his debut in February: Roy Harper!

Though the details surrounding this version of the DC Comics character are being kept under wraps, fans know him as the Green Arrow's sidekick Speedy, a young marksman, who was also known as Arsenal from Teen Titans and Red Arrow from the Justice League.

According to TV Guide, who first reported the awesome casting news, Haynes' Harper is described as "a handsome, street-savvy, teenager from 'the Glades,' the harsh, poverty-stricken portion of Starling City" and is "destined to become a significant part of her life and an important player in the larger world of Arrow." He will also be a love interest for Oliver's (Amell) little sis Thea (Willa Holland), who just happens to hold the nickname Speedy. Hm...

Two months ago, Teen Wolf fans were shocked to learn that Haynes, who played new werewolf Jackson on  the MTV hit, would not be returning for the show's third season. At the time, a source told us Haynes' exit from the show is due to failed contract negotiations. "These past few yrs have been the best of my life," Haynes wrote on his Twitter account. "I'm sad that this chapter has ended, but excited for a new one to begin. Thx for the love."
