You can stop saving room on your iPod for that Reese Witherspoon-Michael Bublé duet.

Though the classic crooner seemed to confirm that the collaboration was in the works for his next album, we're hearing otherwise.

"It's not happening," a source confirmed us.

Bublé, who first broke word of a duet with the Walk the Line actress, told U.K.'s Daybreak, "I just really am a big fan...We wanted to do this with her and we were thrilled that she was excited about it too."

And it was an idea that was discussed, our source reveals, but ultimately it's not happening.

At least, not yet. The holidays are nearing, after all, so now we all have something to ask for from Santa!
