Kristen Stewart Out as the Face of Balenciaga Because of Liberty Ross?! Not So Fast...

Whether you love her or hate her, there's no question Kristen Stewart killed it as the face of Balenciaga's fragrance Florabotanica.

Which is why we were shocked to hear the reports that the Twilight babe might be losing out on her gig because of her infamous cheating scandal with Rupert Sanders, her Snow White and the Huntsman director.

Why?

Because Sanders' scorned wife, Liberty Ross, is apparently besties with Alexander Wang, the new creative director for the edgy high-end brand. Wang was named the new head of Balenciaga shortly after the fashion house parted ways with its former creative director Nicolas Ghesquière.

Coco Perez reports that Wang and Liberty are incredibly close (the mother of two famously walked the runway at Wang's Spring 2013 show after her husband's affair), so K.Stew might be fired and kicked to the high-fashion curb.

But a source tells E! News that the rumor is entirely not true, and there has never "been any talk about Kristen no longer being the face."

Another source echoes the same sentiment, insisting that "there is zero truth to the story and they are happy with Kristen."

There's no official comment from Balenciaga at this time.
