'Tis the season. No, we're not talking about the holidays—we're talking about the time of the year where every DJ (or DJ wannabe) worth their turntables mixes together an end of the year pop mash-up. The first to ping our radar? Daniel Kim's "Pop Danthology 2012."

While it's comprehensive in scope—including the expected hits from Nicki Minaj, PSY and Carly Rae Jepsen and clocking in at a lengthy eight-plus minutes—it doesn't create one mega-pop song from the mix, like, say, DJ Earworm's maddeningly hypnotic "United States of Pop" from 2011.

Whatever, it include a lot of Adam Levine. And we like his face.
