Katy Perry Creates Own Flavor of Popchips—See Her Get Cooking in the Kitchen

E! News has the exclusive shots of the pop star sampling potential candidates as she prepares her own custom snack food flavor, to be revealed in January

Katy Perry is creating her own flavor of Popchips! Talk about music to our, um, tastebuds.

E! News has exclusively learned that the snack food brand's latest face is branching out into an all-new endeavor with the potato purveyor—no longer content to merely front the healthy nibbles, the "Fireworks" superstar is in the midst of concocting her own specially curated flavor.

And we've got the photos to prove it!

As you can see from the candid shots of Katy in the test food kitchen, the flavor has yet to be finalized, but that's not stopping John Mayer's current squeeze from her very thorough taste examination of all possible ingredients, sampling from a wide variety of potential candidates.

In other words, yes, she's getting paid to eat chips. Nice work if you can get it.

But mark your calendars, Katycats and snack food connoisseurs: the Perry-perfected flavor will be revealed in mid-January.
